Sometimes, it may be necessary to make a back-up of your patterns (for security if you have lots of custom patterns and you want to have a backup outside of the app, or you are purposely reinstalling your app).
- Go to the 'Patterns' tab on the layout screen.
- Select the 'Import/Export' tab.
- Select 'Backup Patterns'.
- Navigate to the folder you want to store your backup in by double tapping directories.
- Select 'Open' to initiate backing up your patterns. You should see a confirmation message after the backup is complete.
That's it! You have just backed up your patterns so if something goes wrong and your app gets uninstalled, you will always be able to restore the patterns you had. Good job!
