Windows often hides file extensions by default, making it difficult to work with the Quilt-EZ updates.
Change file extension settings
1. Open a new window
Click on Start, in the search bar type “folder options” (Windows 8 users, just start typing after opening the start menu).
2. Open Folder and search options
in the top-left corner, click on Organize > Folder and search options
3. Unhide extensions
Click on the View tab.
Under advanced settings, uncheck Hide extensions for known file types, then click Apply
