Check Pattern Box Baseline
When a pattern box is created, the first line drawn becomes the baseline of the pattern box. The bottom of a pattern will always rest on the baseline. If your baseline is crooked, your pattern will be crooked.
You will need to create a new pattern box with a properly oriented baseline.
