If you are experiencing issues connecting to WiFi with your Android tablet there are a few things that you can try to establish the connection.
- Verify the status.
- The first thing that you need to verify is the status of the connection. Select the Android home icon located at the bottom of your tablet screen.
- Select the icon with the six white dots within a circle to bring up the applications menu (Located in the top right or bottom center).
- Select settings from the list (Icon may vary in appearance).
- Check to make sure that WiFi is set to ‘On’ and that your router appears in the list on the right.
- If the name is not in the list.
- Make sure that the router is powered on and within range of the tablet’s WiFi
- Restart the system. Power off robot, machine, then tablet. Power back on in the same order.
- Try a hard reset by powering off the robot and machine then holding the power button until the screen comes back up or 35 seconds.
- If you cannot get the name to appear contact your Internet Service Provider.
- If your Internet Service Provider passes off on the router, and the tablet still won’t connect contact technical support to send the tablet in for repair.
- If the name is on the list, but it doesn’t say Connected.
- If you are connected to the router, but can’t access internet features.
- Toggle the WiFi On/Off switch
- Make sure that the router is powered on and within range of the tablet’s WiFi
- Restart the system. Power off robot, machine, then tablet. Power back on in the same order.
- Try a hard reset by powering off the robot and machine then holding the power button until the screen comes back up or 35 seconds.
- If you cannot get the name to appear contact your Internet Service Provider.
- If the steps above did not work try these steps.
- Select the Android home icon from the lower left corner .
- Then select the Applications icon from the top right or bottom center. (May not be enclosed in the circle).
- Tap the Settings icon to open it.
- Locate Apps from the list on the left.
- Swipe from the right on the menu on the right until you find the ‘All’ page.
- Swipe for finger from the top to scroll down until you find SuperUser.
- Select SuperUser or Super SU, and then Clear data and Cache.
- Restart the tablet.
- If clearing the data doesn’t resolve the problem repeat these same steps for the app named Contacts Storage.
