If you are experiencing issues connecting to WiFi with your Android tablet there are a few things that you can try to establish the connection.

  1. Verify the status. 
    1. The first thing that you need to verify is the status of the connection. Select the Android home icon located at the bottom of your tablet screen.home
    2. Select the icon with the six white dots within a circle to bring up the applications menu (Located in the top right or bottom center).apps
    3. Select settings from the list (Icon may vary in appearance).settings
    4. Check to make sure that WiFi is set to ‘On’ and that your router appears in the list on the right.wifi
  2. If the name is not in the list.
    1. Make sure that the router is powered on and within range of the tablet’s WiFi
    2. Restart the system. Power off robot, machine, then tablet. Power back on in the same order.
    3. Try a hard reset by powering off the robot and machine then holding the power button until the screen comes back up or 35 seconds.
    4. If you cannot get the name to appear contact your Internet Service Provider.
    5. If your Internet Service Provider passes off on the router, and the tablet still won’t connect contact technical support to send the tablet in for repair.
  3. If the name is on the list, but it doesn’t say Connected.
    1. The password is likely entered incorrect.
    2. Select your router name from the list.
    3. When prompted select Forget.    forget   
    4. Select your router name again and reenter your password. Make sure it is correct. Passwords are case sensitive.
  4.  If you are connected to the router, but can’t access internet features.
    1. Toggle the WiFi On/Off switch
    2. Make sure that the router is powered on and within range of the tablet’s WiFi
    3. Restart the system. Power off robot, machine, then tablet. Power back on in the same order.
    4. Try a hard reset by powering off the robot and machine then holding the power button until the screen comes back up or 35 seconds.
    5. If you cannot get the name to appear contact your Internet Service Provider.
  5. If the steps above did not work try these steps. 
    1. Select the Android home icon from the lower left corner home.
    2. Then select the Applications icon from the top right or bottom center. (May not be enclosed in the circle).
    3. Tap the Settings icon settings to open it.
    4. Locate Apps from the list on the left.apps
    5. Swipe from the right on the menu on the right until you find the ‘All’ page.all
    6. Swipe for finger from the top to scroll down until you find SuperUser.supersu
    7. Select SuperUser or Super SU, and then Clear data and Cache.clear-data
    8. Restart the tablet.
    9. If clearing the data doesn’t resolve the problem repeat these same steps for the app named Contacts Storage.
